How to Obtain the Aviaries Passepartout Key in Mio: Memories in Orbit
To secure the Aviaries Passepartout key, players must first unlock a door requiring the Silo Access Badge and proceed to the Feral Undergrowth area. From there, the quest leads deeper into the ship’s complex layout.
After entering the Feral Undergrowth, travel east until you find a hole in the ground. Jump down to access the lower levels where the search for the Aviaries Passepartout key continues.
While exploring this segment, utilize the Hairpin ability to navigate through the area effectively. Continue eastward until you confront the boss known as Flora Sentient Pearltrap.
This encounter is manageable, but players must dodge projectile attacks while aiming for the boss’s vulnerable, goo-covered mouth. Expect initial assaults primarily from its tendrils, followed by attacks involving projectile spitting.
As the battle progresses into the second phase, the arena will become slick with slime, complicating efforts to strike the mouth and find safe ground. Utilize the Hairpin on the grapple orb to close the distance, execute a rapid three-hit combo, then double-jump to evade hazards.
Upon vanquishing this adversary, traverse eastward over its remains into a small cavern where you’ll discover the Aviaries Passepartout key situated on a platform.

To employ the Aviaries Passepartout key, make your way back to the Severed Spine area and utilize the elevator to ascend to Level 1: The Spine. Before ascending, be sure to rest at the Attunement Gate to reveal explored sections of your map.
Once you reach The Spine, continue heading east until you locate the locked door. Unlock it with the Aviaries Passepartout to gain access to the Aviaries area of the Haven region. Here, you’ll also find a Tube to interact with, which grants you the Dodge ability in Mio: Memories in Orbit.
