Throughout this period, players can interact with a variety of NPCs, each unveiling new seasonal activities. One standout character, Naughty—an energetic blonde boy often found at Onsen Mountain—has taken up the task of organizing an exciting egg hunt in this winter wonderland. Inspired by the Easter tradition, this hunt captures the festive spirit central to Heartopia’s community.
The Onsen Egg Promise Adventure
To commence this egg-centric treasure hunt, locate Naughty at his usual spot on the scenic overlook of Onsen Mountain. Initiate the fun by selecting the Onsen Egg Promise dialogue option. Naughty will share his amusing backstory about how he ended up in charge of a ‘winter gift’ for Eric’s event but was sidetracked by an egg-related debate, leading to the inception of an egg hunt.
In total, there are 16 unique eggs to discover, with one egg unlocking each day from January 31st through February 15th. To successfully “collect”an egg, players must locate it and take a photo using Heartopia’s in-game camera app. All eggs are strategically positioned within the Onsen Mountain region, allowing for exploration without the need to traverse the entire map. This egg-hunting adventure remains available until the Winter Frost season concludes on March 13th.
It’s crucial to understand that only one egg is revealed daily in real-time, preventing players from completing the hunt at once. However, the availability of additional eggs is based on the real-world calendar, ensuring that players who join the festivities later can easily catch up on their egg collection.

Egg Hunt Locations Revealed
Day 1: Beige Cracked Egg
Available January 31st: The very first egg rests conveniently behind Naughty, perched on a walkway fence post at the scenic overlook.
Day 2: White Cracked Egg
Available February 1st: The second egg is located at the entrance of the ice skating rink, near the shoreline at Onsen Mountain’s north beach. It’s atop the head of a smaller snow sculpture resembling a moose.
Day 3: Green Cracked Egg
Available February 2nd: Discover the third egg tucked under the staircase that leads to the roof of the recently erected domed building in the Winter Frost park area. Look for vendor Azure nearby.
Day 4: Cyan Cracked Egg
Available February 3rd: The fourth egg is cleverly concealed behind Blanc’s gardening shop caravan, positioned near the lower entrance of the domed structure. Be prepared to explore behind the van where the egg is partially obscured by a rock.
