Seth Rollins reveals he was heartbroken to miss one major thing on WWE RAW due to injury

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently shared his experience of the emotional impact his injury had on him while he was unable to compete on Monday Night RAW.

In January 2024, during his title defense against Jinder Mahal on the flagship show, the Visionary sustained a knee injury. The injury was later diagnosed as a partially torn meniscus and a Grade Two MCL tear, casting uncertainty on the World Heavyweight Champion’s ability to compete in WrestleMania 40.

Rollins had been absent from in-ring competition for nearly two months, starting from January 15, but he recently made his comeback at a WWE House Show on March 9. He dedicated himself to rehabilitation and his hard work paid off when he returned to the ring just in time for The Biggest Show of the Year.

During a conversation with Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso, the ex-Shield member expressed his disappointment at being unable to participate in any in-ring action on RAW while on leave. However, Seth Rollins assured that he has fully recuperated and is prepared to take on The Bloodline on Night 1 and Drew McIntyre on Night 2 of WrestleMania 40.

“The fact that we missed out on a few Seth Rollins matches on RAW breaks my heart as much as it does yours, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s all working out in the way it was intended to. I’m happy at full strength and ready to go for not one but two nights of WrestleMania,”he said. [H/T: Sports Illustrated]

Chaos reigns as The Bloodline dominates Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on WWE RAW

On this week’s episode of RAW, Rollins competed against Solo Sikoa in a Bloodline Rules match. The Visionary came close to pinning The Enforcer, but Jimmy Uso’s interference stopped him from getting the win.

As a result, Jey Uso attempted to eliminate his own twin brother in order to prevent The Rock from confronting the former Bloodline member. Afterwards, Dwayne Johnson shifted his focus to Seth Rollins, but Cody Rhodes made a surprising comeback after being made to bleed by The Final Boss the previous week.

During the show, The Great One was in danger as The American Nightmare and The Visionary had him cornered at the announcer’s desk. However, Roman Reigns came to his rescue and later on, the Bloodline outnumbered the opposing team and launched a vicious assault on them, setting the stage for WrestleMania XL.
