Judgment Day member named WWE legend as his dream WrestleMania opponent

The Judgment Day remains as one of the most renowned stables in WWE. Dominik Mysterio, a member of the faction, recently expressed his desire to face Hall of Famer X-Pac as his ultimate WrestleMania opponent.

At the March 22 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, ‘Dirty’ Dom aided Santos Escobar in securing a victory over Rey Mysterio in a one-on-one match. The subsequent week, it was revealed that the former NXT North American Champion would join forces with the leader of Legado Del Fantasma to face Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania XL.

At WWE Clash at the Castle 2022, Dominik Mysterio betrayed his father and joined The Judgment Day. They faced each other at last year’s WrestleMania, where the Hall of Famer came out as the winner.

In a recent video shared by USA Network’s official X account, various WWE wrestlers, including Dominik Mysterio, were posed with the question of who their ideal opponent would be at WrestleMania. Mysterio, 26, revealed that he dreams of facing seasoned wrestler X-Pac on the biggest stage of all.

The question was also answered by WWE Superstars Bayley, R-Truth, Chelsea Green, and LA Knight. Their responses can be viewed in the video below:

“This is a good one. I’ll go with X-Pac,”he said.

The Unmasking of Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio

Despite being a luchador, Dirty Dom chooses not to wear a mask, which goes against the traditional practice in Lucha Libre. The former WWE Tag Team Champion has provided an explanation for his decision to forego this aspect of the culture.

During his interview with The West Sport, the member of The Judgment Day admitted that he had originally planned to wear a mask, but his unexpected debut left him with no time to do so. He also joked about luchadores, stating that they only wear masks because they are not as good-looking as he is.

“I’m way too good-looking. A lot of Luchadores wear masks because they are not good-looking dudes. There is a vignette that Eddie Guerrero does back in WCW where someone stole his wallet. And he lines up every Luchador in WCW and makes everyone take off their masks. His facial reactions to all these guys, he’s scared because all these guys are hideous. And my dad included, and Dragon Lee. So that’s a big reason why I don’t wear a mask. I feel like I’m just the hair, and I’m good-looking. It takes away from it all,”he said.

Despite his recent alliance with Legado Del Fantasma, his fellow Judgment Day members were not supportive. It is uncertain if this partnership will result in any significant developments after WrestleMania XL.
