Guide to Collecting Stamps in Heartopia for Winter Prep

Guide to Collecting Stamps in Heartopia for Winter Prep

Heartopia is gearing up for its winter festivities, but before the main celebrations commence, players have a week dedicated to “prep”activities. This includes a series of smaller quests and tasks that will pave the way for new dreams, items, and surprises once the season officially begins.

At the heart of this winter prep is the engaging activity of stamp collecting. The narrative behind this event follows Eric, the onsen manager, who aspires to install ice water pumps in the surrounding ocean. However, for this ambitious project to move forward, he requires the endorsement of at least nine residents.

Your mission is to help gather these nine stamps, which can be collected from both NPCs and fellow players. If you’re unsure where to start, this guide outlines how to successfully gather stamps for winter prep in Heartopia.

Collecting Winter Prep Stamps from NPCs

According to the quick tutorial offered during winter prep, stamps can primarily be obtained from NPCs located throughout Heartopia. However, it’s important to note that these NPCs are not situated in the central town square where many players typically begin their search.

By checking your map, you’ll discover nine NPCs marked with an orange tick, indicating that they are available to assist you with this special quest. These characters are located in the Forest, Fishing Village, and Flower Field areas; each is ready to give their approval in exchange for help with various tasks.

Obtaining Stamps in the Forest

Within the Forest region, you will encounter two NPCs: Patti at Deer Tower and Cassie at the Jump Puzzle.

Upon interacting with them, you’ll be tasked with catching 10 insects to aid their efforts in protecting local trees from pests. It is crucial to note that you must individually accept the quest from both Patti and Cassie, and complete the task twice to obtain each of their stamps.

As a bonus, completing these tasks grants you a refreshing serving of house salad from each NPC alongside their stamps.

Securing Stamps in Fishing Village

In the Fishing Village, you’ll find three key NPCs: Marin at the East Pier, Bill at the Wharf, and Will at the Lighthouse.

Each of these characters will ask you to donate three fish to ensure the village market remains well-stocked through the winter season. As with the forest NPCs, you’ll need to complete this task for each character individually to receive all three stamps.

Completing their requests rewards you with 500 Gold from each NPC, in addition to the much-needed stamps.

Gathering Stamps in the Flower Field

The Flower Field region features four NPCs contributing to the quest: Sally at Purple Light Beach, Vernie at the Windmill, the Passionate Girl by Meadow Lake, and the Gazing Boy on Whale Mountain.

They will each request that you provide three bags of fertilizer, whether that’s regular fertilizer or a growth booster, to aid in protecting the flowers from the cold frost. Again, you must individually interact with each NPC to complete this task a total of four times to collect all their stamps.

In return for your generosity, each of these characters will not only provide you with their stamps but also offer 500 Gold as a token of appreciation.

Collecting Stamps from Other Players

If you’re not keen on repeating similar tasks numerous times, enlisting the help of fellow players can be a faster strategy to complete your stamp collection.

To collect stamps from other players, simply hold your stamp book like any tool, allowing others to interact with you and contribute stamps directly.

Keep in mind, however, that this interaction costs the other player 30 Energy, so it’s a nice gesture to have some food ready as gratitude!

Don’t worry if you encounter a lack of interaction from players; the NPC route remains a dependable option if time runs short to complete your winter prep tasks.
