Exciting New Feature: Artifact Custom Loadouts in Genshin Impact
In a much-anticipated update, HoYoVerse has announced the introduction of Artifact custom loadouts for Genshin Impact. This new feature will streamline the way players can equip their characters, allowing for faster customization of Artifact sets. While there will be some restrictions, the ‘Fast Equip’ section will present players with various configurations tailored to each character.
Setting Up Custom Loadouts
The configuration process for custom loadouts is straightforward. By navigating to the Fast Equip section for Artifacts in Genshin Impact, players can choose the Quick Configuration option. Here, you will have the ability to filter Artifacts based on key attributes such as Main Affix, Set Type, and Minor Affix. Additionally, options exist for items that are currently unequipped. Once selected, this will create a Custom Configuration, with the first setup designated as Plan 1. Players can save up to two of these custom plans for each character, enhancing versatility.
Additional Artifact Updates
The upcoming version 5.7 of Genshin Impact will feature an additional Artifact-related enhancement – the Set Filter. This new tool will enable players to easily compare various pieces of equipment, including both equipped and unequipped items, thereby improving the decision-making process regarding gear.
Other Gameplay Enhancements in Version 5.7
Beyond the Artifact changes, several other gameplay updates are set to arrive with Genshin Impact 5.7. One noteworthy addition is the ‘Retry Challenge’ option in the Spiral Abyss, designed to help players achieve full star completion. Furthermore, rewards can now be claimed from the Challenge Ended screen. The Talent Demo and Test Run sections will be updated to provide a thorough exploration of character abilities and roles. Players will also gain the ability to use Original Resin, Condensed Resin, or Transient Resin for rewards from Ley Lines and Domains.
Launch Timeline
Genshin Impact is accessible on multiple platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. Mark your calendars for the 5.7 Special Program, scheduled to air at 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET / 2 PM CET on June 6, 2025, via Twitch and YouTube.
