Galaxy Z Fold 6 Prototype Shows a Taller and Wider External Screen, Almost Looking Like the Galaxy S24 Ultra

The upcoming release of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is highly anticipated, and according to the current available information, Samsung is planning on implementing some changes to improve their foldable phone. This is a promising development as previous versions have been limited in terms of design. A recent tip has revealed a prototype of the device, showcasing a slightly larger and taller display compared to last year’s model, which appears to be visually appealing.

As depicted in the image above, the prototype features a 22:9 aspect ratio, which differs slightly from the 21.6:18 aspect ratio of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the 19.5:9 aspect ratio of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This suggests that the outer screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have a distinct appearance, but we will need to wait for official renders to assess its design.

The announcement for the much-anticipated event, featuring the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and other devices, is finally happening in July. Speculations have also been circulating about a high-end and a budget-friendly version of the device, but it is uncertain if Samsung will actually release them. Considering the already steep price of the base model, it is difficult to imagine the cost of the Ultra variant.
