Exciting New Additions to Xbox Game Pass in March 2026
After generating excitement on X (formerly Twitter), a recent announcement via the Xbox Wire blog has confirmed that the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 will be featured in the first wave of titles joining Xbox Game Pass this March.
Cyberpunk 2077 Joins Game Pass
This marks the second title from CD Projekt RED to become available on the platform in just two weeks, following the addition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on February 19, 2026. However, it’s important to note that Cyberpunk 2077 will be exclusively accessible for console users, meaning subscribers of the PC-only Xbox Game Pass variant will miss out on this highly-acclaimed RPG upon its release on March 10, 2026.
Noteworthy Games Coming This Month
In addition to Cyberpunk 2077, other worthy titles expected to join Xbox Game Pass include Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf. This sequel to the visually stunning platformer will launch on both PC and Xbox on March 5, 2026. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have immediate access to Lana’s latest adventure.
For those eager to experience it early, a demo is currently available on Steam. This was featured as one of our top recommendations during the first Steam Next Fest of 2026, highlighting just how captivating this upcoming title is.
A Closer Look at Game Pass Additions
This new selection of games for March appears to be relatively limited compared to previous months. Out of the announced seven games, only five are brand-new additions. The other two, to a T and Hollow Knight Silksong, were already accessible to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers and are now being introduced to Game Pass Premium users.
For current Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, this situation might feel slightly disappointing, as two of the new titles have already been available. Below is the complete list of games set to arrive in this initial wave:
- to a T – March 4 – Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC – Previously available in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, now accessible in Game Pass Premium
- EA Sports F1 25 – March 4 – Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC – Available in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
- Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf – March 5 – Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC – Available in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
- Construction Simulator – March 10 – Cloud, Console, PC – Game Pass Premium and above, PC Game Pass
- Cyberpunk 2077 – March 10 – Cloud, Console – Available for Game Pass Premium and Game Pass Ultimate
- Hollow Knight Silksong – March 12 – Cloud, Console, PC – Previously available in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, now in Game Pass Premium
- DreamWorks Gabby’s Dollhouse: Ready to Party – March 17 – Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC – Available in Game Pass Premium and above, PC Game Pass
Games Departing Xbox Game Pass
As new games are introduced, some will inevitably leave the service. Notably, this first wave of March is quite small, as more titles are departing than entering. Excluding to a T and Hollow Knight Silksong, there are actually more games exiting the service than those being added.
Here’s a quick overview of the games departing Xbox Game Pass as of March 15, 2026:
- Bratz Rhythm & Style
- Enter the Gungeon
- F1 23
- He is Coming
- Lightyear Frontier
- Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island
Final Thoughts
As the month progresses, we hope to see announcements that excite players even more. However, the addition of Cyberpunk 2077 is significant for Xbox Series X/S gamers who have yet to experience this ambitious RPG from CD Projekt RED.
