
BTS’s J-Hope is gearing up for his long-awaited return to the music industry following his discharge from mandatory military service. After months of anticipation, fans can expect new music from the artist as early as March 2025.
Big Hit Music recently confirmed the upcoming solo release of J-Hope, whose real name is Jung Ho-seok. Although a specific release date remains undisclosed, this new music will signify his comeback to the industry after completing military service in October 2024.
This forthcoming track will be his first solo effort since he launched the six-track album Hope on the Street Vol.1 last March. Excitement surrounding his return has also surged after the recent release of a teaser video titled Beginning of a New Dream, which showcased J-Hope as he creates new music. In the video, he teased, “New music on the way.2025.03, ” enhancing anticipation among fans.
Upcoming Tour and Concerts
In addition to his musical comeback, J-Hope has exciting plans for his solo tour titled HOPE ON THE STAGE, which will commence at the KSPO Dome in Seoul on February 28, 2025. The tour will traverse multiple cities across different continents, including stops in Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Oakland, and Los Angeles during March and April. Following this, he will head back to Asia from April through June, performing in locations such as Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka.
For fans unable to attend in person, J-Hope’s tour will also offer online live streaming access, ensuring that his music reaches a global audience.
Career Achievements
J-Hope has enjoyed immense success as a member of the renowned K-pop group BTS, which he joined in 2013. His contributions to beloved tracks like “Dope, ” “DNA, ” and the collaboration with Halsey, Boy with Luv, have solidified his position in the music world.
His solo endeavors include the critically acclaimed mixtape Hope World, which notably peaked at number 38 on the US Billboard 200. Moreover, in 2019, J-Hope made history as the first BTS member to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist with his hit “Chicken Noodle Soup, ” featuring Becky G.
During his military service, which he began in 2023, J-Hope was recognized as an exemplary platoon leader, earning an early promotion to sergeant and the distinguished “Special Forces”title for his impressive marksmanship and first aid skills.
