Brock Lesnar was ‘terrified’ after dropping WWE veteran on his head in a scary botch

A former WWE wrestler has recounted a fascinating anecdote from his experience facing Brock Lesnar in the ring.

Following his debut on the WWE main roster, The Beast Incarnate faced off against Bully Ray in multiple matches. Out of the two singles bouts, the newcomer emerged victorious in both encounters.

On Busted Open, Ray shared that WWE executives had instructed him to train Brock Lesnar extensively, as they saw him as a top star in the making. During their match, Lesnar accidentally landed Ray on his head with a belly-to-belly suplex, causing the newcomer to panic. However, Ray remained calm and urged Lesnar to try the move again. Despite his initial fear, Lesnar ultimately refused to do so, worrying about injuring Ray. Ray explained that if Lesnar continued to be hesitant, he could end up like Ridge Holland, who suffered a serious injury due to hesitation in the ring.

Brock Lesnar’s WWE Career Comes to an End

Lesnar’s final WWE match was against Cody Rhodes at last year’s SummerSlam. His name was brought up indirectly in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon, where she shared a number of disturbing details.

Despite WWE’s efforts to distance itself from Lesnar, it appears unlikely that he will make a return to WWE TV. Despite his absence, the former WWE Champion continues to have a dedicated fan base, even after over twenty years since his debut with the company. Throughout his career in pro wrestling, Lesnar has achieved great success and is still regarded as one of the most iconic stars in the industry.
