Apple releases iOS 17.4.1 with Important Security Updates
After a week of anticipation, Apple has finally rolled out the latest iOS 17.4.1 update for eligible iPhones. Despite initial expectations for its release last week, neither the official nor beta update arrived. However, today marks the day that the Cupertino-based tech giant has officially released the long-awaited iOS 17.4.1 update.
The most recent incremental update for iPhones, which has a build number of 21E236, was downloaded onto my iPhone 13 with a size of 377MB. The update size may differ based on the specific model and current iOS version. Additionally, Apple has also released updates for its other devices.
Now, let’s discuss the updates. It is a minor incremental update with minimal changes, if any. The only noticeable change is a new modem update. However, this update is significant as it includes security updates and bug fixes.
Apple has not specified any particular bug fixes, but if you experienced bugs in your previous update, it is possible that those issues have been addressed in this update.
The latest iOS update, version 17.4.1, is now being released to all users. If your iPhone is currently running on iOS 17.4 or an earlier version, the update will be available for download. To manually check for the update, go to Settings > General > Software Update. Once found, simply tap on “Download and Install”to update your device.
