Your Galaxy Watch Can Now Show You The Time on Different Planets, Should You Want to Know That for Some Reason
Recently, Samsung collaborated with the European Space Agency (ESA) to release a new watch face for Galaxy Watch users. This unique feature allows users to check the time on various planets in our solar system, which may seem unconventional but has pleasantly surprised me.
Explore the Solar System with Galaxy Time on Your Galaxy Watch
The latest Galaxy Watch face allows users to access real-time information about the solar system, including the rotation rates of each planet around its axis and the sun. While each planet has a unique day and year length compared to Earth, the fourth dimension remains the same across the solar system. This new watch face will provide answers to most inquiries about the solar system, including the ability to view the current time on Earth and other planets. Although some may not find this feature useful, it is particularly convenient for avid enthusiasts like us.
Samsung has unveiled their latest watch face, aptly named Galaxy Time, which boasts a high level of precision. This achievement was made possible through a collaboration with ESA and utilizing measurements from the agency. With this new watch face, users can access information about all the planets in our solar system, allowing them to check the time on Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus.
Owners of the Galaxy Watch will have the opportunity to explore each planet through its own unique dial, which accurately displays the varying pace of time in relation to our 24-hour system. Additionally, the watch face will offer additional details such as the distance from our planet and the sun, the number of moons orbiting each planet, and the characteristics of their seasonal cycles. Furthermore, the watch face will provide the precise location of each planet within the solar system.
The great news is that the new Galaxy Time watch face is compatible with every Galaxy Watch model using Wear OS. This includes the Watch 4 and can stretch to the Watch 6, and will even be accessible on the upcoming Watch 7. The Watch Face will be accessible to all users, so if you are excited to try it out, feel free to download it.
