What is The Rock really like backstage? Top WWE name reveals the truth

The Rock has taken on the moniker of The Final Boss during his ongoing WWE career, and he is not entirely wrong. As a prominent member of TKO’s Board of Directors, he holds a significant amount of power within the company, allowing him to bend the rules to his advantage.

Despite the rarity of expletive-laden promos on WWE programming, the Brahma Bull has been delivering them since turning heel. As a result, some of his words are censored. Rumors circulated that certain individuals backstage were unhappy with Rocky’s disregard for PG TV rules, but this is not true.

In a recent appearance on The Fan Morning Show, SmackDown commentator Corey Graves shared his insights on The Final Boss behind the scenes. Graves praised Rocky for his gracious demeanor and constant efforts to contribute to the success of the promotion.

“Yes. I say that without hesitation because I’ve had a chance to get to know him just a little bit. I wouldn’t say I ‘know’ The Rock or I’m friends with The Rock (…) You talk about presence and aura, The Rock is as big of a star in person as you would hope he would be, but he’s always incredibly gracious and will take time out of his day to do what needs to be done to make sure the business succeeds at the highest level.” (H/T: Fightful)

Ever since The Great One’s comeback to WWE, the company’s business has been thriving, with tickets selling out in record time. The final episode of WWE RAW before WrestleMania XL was a complete sell-out and broke multiple records.

The Rock Refuses to Be Constrained by a “Script”

During the March 25, 2024 episode of WWE RAW, The People’s Champion made a statement to Cody Rhodes, revealing his intention to make the latter bleed. At first, his motives were unclear as the microphone failed to capture the words of the Hollywood megastar.

As the show came to a close, The Great One mercilessly attacked Rhodes while he was fighting with The Bloodline. The American Nightmare was left covered in blood, but Rocky continued to fight even after the producer signaled that the show was over.

After becoming a multi-time WWE Champion, he shared a post on social media stating that he was not restricted by a script. He also posted a video in which he can be seen fiercely confronting the producer who tried to prevent him from attacking Rhodes.

“I hate constraints and bull**it rules – and just because some @wwe producer says, “Clear” [meaning, we are no longer live on the air and the show is over] that doesn’t mean I just stop whatever I’m doing and tell everyone ‘Great job.’ It f***ing pi**ed me off. I can’t shut my high emotions off just because a script says we’re done.”

During the most recent episode of RAW, the Hollywood megastar and Roman Reigns teamed up to launch a surprise attack on Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the closing segment. This intense rivalry will come to a head at WrestleMania XL Night One, where the two teams will face off in a highly anticipated tag team match.
