The Epic Games Store’s weekly free game offering features Islets this week, an indie title developed by Kyle Thompson that has received positive reviews.

Islets is known for providing players with a fulfilling metroidvania adventure. In the game, you take on the role of a warrior who must navigate between floating islands, battling foes, forming alliances, and completing challenges. Along the way, you will encounter dangerous creatures and sky pirates, and you can also merge different floating islands to uncover even more of the map.

Currently, Islets can be claimed for free on the Epic Games Store until April 4. Next week’s giveaway will include both The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition and Thief as freebies, making it a big event.

Humble Horror Bundle

Yesterday, the Humble Store released yet another one of its prominent virtual reality bundles.

The bundled Mystery & Mayhem VR bundle includes A Fisherman’s Tale for $4 in its first tier, followed by Arizona Sunshine Deluxe Edition and Broken Edge in the $10 second tier. The third tier offers even more value with copies of Another Fisherman’s Tale, After the Fall: Deluxe Edition, and No More Rainbows for $15. The bundle concludes with The 7th Guest and Firmament for $20.

This week, those who enjoy horror had a lot to look forward to. The Spring Screams bundle, featuring Escape the Backrooms, Devour, Demonologist, and Forewarned, was available for $9. For an additional $17, you could also get Amnesia: The Bunker, The Quarry, Ad Infinitum, and My Friendly Neighborhood to complete the bundle.
