In Hades 2, Prestige serves as a new type of resource that players can leverage, but it must first be unlocked to be utilized effectively. This unlocking process is achieved through Incantations, a core progression system that allows players to exchange various reagents for unlocking new gameplay features, crafting unique items, and gaining access to additional locations.

The specific Incantation required to unlock Prestige is called Earthly Fortune. To activate this Incantation at the Crossroads Cauldron, players will need to collect 100 Bones. Once unlocked, players may trade a variety of items—including Rubbish (obtained from Eris), Plants, Ashes, and Psyche—at the Wretched Broker’s Recycling Service to acquire Prestige; however, items categorized as Fish cannot be exchanged.

If players find that the Incantation isn’t available, it may be necessary to progress further in the storyline to trigger its appearance.

To personalize their experience, players can meet with Dora in the Crossroads and select the Decorate option. Dora appears in three main locations within the hub: Melinoe’s Tent, by the large Cauldron, and next to the Keepsakes chest in the Training Grounds.

Each time players interact with Dora, they are presented with different decoration options in that area. By spending Prestige, players can purchase a variety of cosmetic additions that appeal to their tastes. The range of available decor varies, with some areas offering just a few options while others present a selection of over a dozen. Additionally, new decoration choices will become accessible as Melinoe develops stronger relationships with her companions.
