Expanding Your Inventory to Accommodate More Items in Crimson Desert

Crimson Desert may not feature player-owned storage, but it offers several effective ways to enhance your inventory capacity. For fans of role-playing games, the feeling of being over-encumbered can be incredibly frustrating. After all, why would developers fill their vast open world with treasures if players couldn’t enthusiastically gather them?

To effectively manage your inventory in Crimson Desert, consider the methods outlined below for expanding your carrying capacity.

Strategies for Expanding Your Inventory in Crimson Desert

There are three primary strategies players can use to increase their inventory size:

  • Completing story quests
  • Engaging in requests from NPCs across towns and cities
  • Purchasing bags from merchants throughout the game

Although these methods vary in their approach, they fundamentally function the same way: by completing quests and requests, players are rewarded with bags that automatically increase their inventory space without the need for manual equipping.

Starting with small bags, these cost a modest 50 copper and provide one additional inventory slot, making them a worthwhile investment at any merchant’s store.

Medium bags are more frequently acquired through requests available at the town bounty board, identifiable by a purple icon. These bags offer three extra spaces, and although the associated tasks may include standard fetch quests, they are relatively simple and can be completed while you explore the game world.

For those seeking to expand their inventory even further, large bags are available, which grant five additional spaces. However, these tend to be rewards from significant story quests or boss battles, making them less common in the early game.

New players can breathe a sigh of relief, as inventory management issues are primarily a concern during the early stages of Crimson Desert. After completing a few quests and gaining some experience, you’ll soon have ample space for food, crafting materials, and loot to sell.
