The Burning Springs expansion features a series of four main missions. While this initial questline may seem concise, developers have hinted at its role in a broader storyline, similar to the expansion of the Steel Dawn narrative into Steel Reign. The missions included in the update are:

  1. Welcoming Committee
  2. Might Makes Right
  3. Insurrection
  4. When the Rust Settles

Players who complete the Burning Springs main quests will earn a variety of rewards, including plans for creating unique signs, exclusive Rust Raider outfits, the Mounted Deathclaw Matriarch head, and the coveted Rust King’s Throne.

For most players, completing the Burning Springs main questline will take approximately two hours, assuming you prioritize quest objectives and are adequately equipped to handle the area’s challenges. The quest “Welcoming Committee”serves as a suitable measurement of your character’s power level. If you find battling the Rust King’s raiders difficult, consider enhancing your gear before proceeding.

Side Quests in Fallout 76: Burning Springs

The Burning Springs update includes two side quests. While fewer in number, these quests are designed to be time-consuming.

The first side quest, Dirty Laundry, is triggered automatically when players pick up an Abraxodyne Intel case for the first time. This quest challenges you to locate all 150 Abraxodyne Intel cases hidden throughout Burning Springs. However, be prepared to search diligently, as quest markers do not identify the locations of these cases.

The second side quest is Bounty Hunting: Grunt Hunt, a repeatable quest involving eliminating specific targets throughout the wasteland. Although each assignment can be completed relatively quickly, players can continually engage in Grunt Hunt missions to their heart’s content. Through these hunts, you’ll gain access to Head Hunt public events via the wanted posters received during Grunt Hunts.

Both Grunt Hunts and Head Hunts are excellent for farming essential materials needed for your upcoming builds in Fallout 76.
