The easter egg in Black Ops 7 Zombies, titled Astra Malorum, can often puzzle players, creating challenges for those who are keen to unravel its secrets. To assist you in navigating one of its trickiest phases, we have compiled a comprehensive guide specifically for the book step of Astra Malorum.
This guide includes detailed locations for each book, instructions on how to interact with the statue busts, and clear steps to help you overcome this perplexing challenge, ensuring you can continue your quest without falling prey to the frustrations caused by O. S.C. A.R.’s incessant interruptions.
Initiating the Books Step in Astra Malorum
To kick off the books puzzle within Astra Malorum, you first need to place Dr. Thurston’s brain into the Perfusion Machine located in the Machina Astralis. After connecting it to the network, head over to the Observatory Dome. Here, you’ll interact with the telescope situated near the piano opposite the Pack-a-Punch station.
As you stargaze, align the telescope lens precisely with Mars. Take careful note of the DEC coordinates displayed in the lower-left corner of the screen. Once you have them memorized, return to the Machina Astralis and input these numbers into a device located at the west railing, near the Mystery Box area.
Solutions for the Astra Malorum Books and Busts Puzzle
Once the device in the Machina Astralis is activated, revisit Dr. Thurston’s brain at the Perfusion Machine. You’ll notice a terminal to the left that will display “Dr. Thurston’s Reading List, ”showcasing various book titles. Pay close attention to these titles, as you’ll need to recall them when you enter the Archive of Orbis, where Stamin-Up can be found.
Importantly, you must know how many interactions are needed for each of the three statues. You have a strict time limit of 15 seconds to interact with all three statues before the step resets, forcing you to retry in the next round.
