AIDA64 v8.30 Introduces Support for Intel Nova Lake Processors and AMD 2027 Medusa Zen 6 APUs

FinalWire has unveiled an updated version of its AIDA64 software, which now supports next-generation CPUs, including AMD’s Zen 6 APUs and Intel’s Nova Lake architecture.

The latest release of AIDA64 introduces significant enhancements, most notably the addition of the AIDA FPS feature. This new module allows users to capture real-time frames per second (FPS) data from games utilizing DirectX 11 and 12.   • APX-optimized SHA3 Benchmark: Enhanced performance for Intel Diamond Rapids and Nova Lake architectures with an improved SHA3 benchmark.

  • Enhanced Support for Intel Wildcat Lake and Nova Lake CPUs

In addition to the AIDA FPS feature and numerous optimizations, a pivotal change is the enhanced support for Intel’s upcoming Nova Lake CPUs, set to launch later this year. These processors promise to revolutionize desktop computing with configurations offering up to 52 cores and a staggering 288 MB cache.

Moreover, this update incorporates preliminary support for AMD’s Zen 6 APU lineup, codenamed “Medusa”, which will include a range of WeUs and configurations under the Ryzen AI 500 series, expected to arrive in early 2027. The Zen 6 architecture will also extend to the upcoming Olympic Ridge Desktop CPUs anticipated around the same period.

Lastly, the release mentions support for AMD’s EXPO 1.2 technology, which is gaining traction as early BIOS support is now available from ASUS. EXPO 1.2 is crucial for enabling CUDIMM DDR5 memory compatibility, ensuring this technology will be supported through the next-generation Ryzen Desktop CPUs with the corresponding BIOS updates from motherboard manufacturers.
