To reach this location, players must first achieve level 10, acquire the portal tool, and teleport to the adjacent island. Upon arrival, turn around and approach the shoreline to spot a distant mini island decorated with three palm trees.
Once you reach this island, navigate towards the rocks where you’ll find the Monke NPC resting beside a collection of banana peels. To interact, simply press the ‘E‘ key. The Monke will express hunger, and surprisingly, its preferred food is not bananas but Bananite ores. These ores can be collected by mining rocks found within the deeper caves at Stonewake’s Cross.
The Monke NPC is willing to accept Bananite ores in increments of 10, 20, or 30. For optimal rewards, it’s advisable to bring the maximum amount available. Initiating this quest early in your gaming experience minimizes the effort required for mining Bananite ores specifically. Instead, players can return to the first island to farm for higher-quality ores, aiding both leveling up and weapon crafting using the most advantageous recipes, while the quest advancement continues unobtrusively in the background.
Where to Locate Bananite for the Monke in The Forge
The quest to find Bananite ores takes players back to Stonewake’s Cross. Venture deep into the cave systems where larger Boulders and Rocks are abundant, rather than the smaller pebbles.
Boulders provide a greater opportunity for acquiring Bananite ores, boasting about a 1 in 30 chance of yielding these valuable resources. Since mining Boulders can result in recovering up to three ores at once, this approach proves to be significantly more effective than targeting smaller Rocks or Pebbles. Upon gathering the required 30 Bananites, utilize your portal to return to the Forgotten Kingdom and make your way back to the Monke NPC.
