The music video for Sabrina Carpenter’s song “Feather”was unveiled on October 31, 2023. This particular track has sparked an investigation into a priest associated with New York City Mayor Eric Adams. The video showcases Sabrina Carpenter in a chic little black dress at the altar of a Brooklyn church, surrounded by coffins adorned with the words “RIP B*tch.”

How Sabrina Carpenter’s “Feather”Video Linked to Eric Adams’ Investigation
New York City Mayor Eric Adams faced indictment on charges related to illegal campaign contributions on September 24, 2024. He was also charged with accepting flights from the Turkish government during his mayoral campaign, which ran from 2016 to 2021.
In connection with this indictment, investigators have subpoenaed Pastor Jamie Gigantiello of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Annunciation Parish, where Sabrina filmed her music video. The federal investigation is focused on Gigantiello’s associations with Frank Carone, Eric Adams’ former chief of staff. The subpoena against Gigantiello follows a prior investigation concerning his approval for Sabrina’s music video shoot.
Gigantiello has since been relieved of his duties, but diocese officials have declined to comment further on the investigation. When approached for remarks, they told Express US that it would be “inappropriate to comment”while the review is ongoing.
Sabrina Carpenter Sparks Controversy Over Missing Nonsense Outros
Sabrina Carpenter is currently on her Short n’ Sweet Tour, which kicked off on September 23, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio. A highlight of her past performances has been the “Nonsense outros”she incorporated during her 2022 Emails I Can’t Send tour.
The outros vary based on the location of the concert, featuring either tributes to the local area or suggestive lyrics. Since their debut in 2022, Sabrina has performed about 118 unique Nonsense outros, as noted by a list on Genius.
Although her fans have greatly enjoyed the outros, their absence during the opening show of the Short n’ Sweet tour garnered significant attention. Just before she was set to perform her introduction, her microphone malfunctioned, and she was escorted off stage, with a message displayed stating that the program was interrupted due to technical difficulties.
“We apologize for the interruption of our program due to technical difficulties.”
Numerous media outlets have sought comments from Carpenter and her team regarding the future of the Nonsense outros in her latest tour, but there has been no response yet.
Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour will continue until March 26, 2025, concluding in Milan, Italy.
