Rey Mysterio sends bold warning ahead of WWE WrestleMania

Ahead of his match at WWE WrestleMania XL, Rey Mysterio has boldly stated his intentions. Alongside Dragon Lee, the Hall of Famer will take on Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio at The Show of Shows this weekend.

At last year’s WrestleMania, Rey Mysterio emerged victorious in a singles match against his own son. Despite finding success as a member of The Judgment Day, Dirty Dom remains fixated on seeking retribution against his father. In a recent episode of SmackDown, he ambushed Rey Mysterio and has since aligned himself with the Legado Del Fantasma faction on the blue brand.

During a live merchandise auction at WWE World today, Rey Mysterio spoke with Tyler Breeze and directed a message to his son and Santos Escobar. He declared that both individuals were spoiled and asserted that he would assert his dominance over them this weekend.

“This match is going to be a very special match. I didn’t realize that Dominik (Mysterio) and Santos (Escobar) had so much in common. They are both spoiled if they don’t get what they want. They throw a tantrum. I’m going to have to teach both of them who the real father is,”he said.

Legendary WWE Hall of Famer Proposes Unique Opportunity for Rey Mysterio

Legendary wrestler Teddy Long recently proposed the idea of Rey Mysterio becoming a heel in WWE.

His suggestion was to turn Mysterio into a heel in order to give his character a fresh direction on WWE television.

“I just don’t know man. They have done quite a bit with Rey, and you know what I mean, they have really got to come up with something… To try to you know, get him back out there again. I don’t know, this maybe sounds crazy but if it was me, I’d turn him heel.”[6:56 onwards]

Despite being a heel, Dominik Mysterio has received a lot of success and is met with loud boos whenever he attempts to deliver a promo. The upcoming tag team match at WrestleMania will surely be an intriguing event to witness.
