Exciting Announcement: FBC: Firebreak Release Date and Details Revealed
Remedy Entertainment has officially announced the release date for its first self-published game, FBC: Firebreak, which is set to launch on June 17, 2025. This cooperative game is generating buzz among fans and gaming enthusiasts alike, and new details have been shared about its features, including post-launch plans and a Deluxe Edition.
Overview of FBC: Firebreak
In case you are new to FBC: Firebreak, this title immerses players in a thrilling three-player cooperative experience, situated within Remedy’s intriguing supernatural universe that fans have come to know from iconic titles like Control and Alan Wake. Unlike Remedy’s traditional narrative-driven games, FBC: Firebreak focuses on replayable “Jobs”, allowing players to join forces as agents of the Federal Bureau of Control.
A Live Service Model with Continuous Updates
Positioning itself as a live service game, FBC: Firebreak will introduce ongoing content updates after its initial launch. Remedy has committed to enhancing the gameplay experience with free post-launch additions, ensuring that the game evolves over time. Players can look forward to a variety of cosmetics that can be unlocked through gameplay or purchased; additionally, Remedy has confirmed the implementation of a non-timed battle pass system:
Requisitions are sets of unlockable gear and cosmetics in FBC: Firebreak. Play the game, earn currency (Lost Assets), and use them to unlock what you want. No timed battle passes, no pressure!
There are two types of Requisitions in the game:
- Requisition: This set includes weapons, equipment, and cosmetics, such as armor pieces and sprays that players can earn through in-game currency. Simple: play the game and unlock items!
- Classified Requisitions: These premium items include armors, sprays, and weapon skins that can be purchased with real money. Importantly, these do not influence gameplay.
Deluxe Edition Details
On top of the standard offering, Remedy has unveiled a Deluxe Edition, priced at $49.99, which includes an exciting array of additional content:
- “The Firestarter” Premium Voice Pack
- “The Pencil Pusher” Premium Voice Pack
