Popular tag team defeats LWO at WWE show; WrestleMania weekend spot confirmed

Despite LWO’s best efforts, they were defeated by a well-known tag team whose spot on the WrestleMania weekend card has been officially confirmed by NXT.

A few months back, Nathan Frazer and Axiom participated in a best-of-seven series that showcased some incredible matches. Due to their strong chemistry in the ring, they came together to create a tag team and have since been striving to win the NXT Tag Team Championship. However, they were not the only ones determined to dethrone the champs, with LWO and The O.C. also vying for a chance to take down Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker.

Therefore, a Triple-Threat tag team match was scheduled for tonight to determine which team would advance to NXT Stand & Deliver and challenge Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Each of the three teams delivered a highly competitive performance.

Despite the numerous good spots, each team was determined to emerge victorious. In the end, it was Nathan Frazer who claimed victory by executing a 450 Splash on LWO’s Del Toro.

After their victory, Nathan Frazer and Axiom secured a spot to challenge Corbin and Breakker for the NXT Tag Team Championship at Stand & Deliver. The last time these two teams faced off was in the 2024 Semi-Final of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, in which Corbin and Breakker emerged as the winners. As a result, Frazer and Axiom will be seeking retribution in this upcoming match.
