In the last game of the 2023-24 NBA regular season, the Miami Heat will face the Philadelphia 76ers. The Heat currently hold a 2-1 lead in the season series, but the 76ers emerged victorious in their previous meeting on Mar. 18. Despite playing without Joel Embiid, the 76ers came together as a team and secured a 98-91 win.
Despite the contributions of Kelly Oubre Jr. who scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Tyrese Maxey was still the standout player for the 76ers with 30 points, eight rebounds, and 10 assists. Former Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry also added 16 points to the team’s score.
Despite the Heat also missing key players Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro due to injuries, they were unable to rally their supporting cast around Bam Adebayo and Terry Rozier. While the duo contributed 40 points, it was not enough to push the Heat past their opponents.
