NVIDIA has officially rolled out its DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution technology to all users of the NVIDIA App, accompanied by additional exciting features.
NVIDIA App Introduces DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution to Enhance Image Fidelity
The latest update to the NVIDIA App marks a significant milestone, making the much-anticipated DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution accessible to all users. This rollout follows a grand reveal at CES, where NVIDIA showcased the advancements in their DLSS technology, notably the introduction of the 2nd Generation Transformer model and support for Multi-Frame Generation (MFG) scaling up to 6 times.
The 2nd Generation Transformer model, which is substantially more compute-intensive—five times more than its predecessor—supports all RTX GPU families, including the RTX 20, 30, 40, and 50 series. - The new “Debug Mode”under System > Advanced allows for instant disabling of any overclocking or voltage tweaks to identify potential causes of instability, pending a system restart.

Additionally, the NVIDIA App can further boost performance using DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution overrides.
- StarRupture: In this Early Access first-person, open-world base-building game from Creepy Jar, players can experience day-one support for DLSS Super Resolution and frame generation. Users can amplify image fidelity with the innovative DLSS 4.5 model and activate DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation to achieve higher frame rates on GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs.
