Major WWE champion’s title reign will come to an end at WrestleMania XL for one significant reason, predicts Cameron

Cameron, a former WWE Superstar, is confident that Bayley will defeat Iyo Sky at WrestleMania XL and become the new champion, as it is the perfect moment for her to embark on another title reign.

Despite facing 29 other competitors, the ex-leader of Damage CTRL emerged victorious in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Bayley had initially planned to go up against Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania XL, but after her former stable-mate IYO WeY and the group turned on her, she challenged WeY instead.

During an interview with Ring The Belle, Cameron expressed her belief that The Role Model will dethrone WeY as champion at this year’s Show of Shows. The former WWE Superstar stated that she thinks it’s time for Bayley to have another opportunity to hold the title.

“I’m gonna say Bayley too just for the simple fact I think there is, like, I feel like there’s time for another Bayley ride. Like, it’s been a minute where we’ve seen her, like, you know, hold a title and just, and do something too like just separately,”she said. [17:10 – 17:24]

Bayley Launches Brutal Assault on IYO WeY during WWE SmackDown

During last Friday’s episode of SmackDown, Bayley ambushed IYO WeY while the latter was concluding an interview backstage. During the interview, IYO WeY had a message for The Role Model, labeling her a “narcissist”and asserting that she was the reason for Bayley’s newfound relevance.

During the interview with NFL Total Access, the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble winner expressed her excitement for the opportunity to leave WrestleMania XL as the holder of WeY’s title.

“The fact that I have a marquee match for a championship in a very personal, emotional story that I kind of created with the beginning of Damage CTRL with IYO WeY, it’s a huge honor, I don’t take it lightly, and I can’t wait to walk out as WWE Women’s Champion because this is history right here,”she said. Despite her previous success, Bayley has not held a women’s championship since 2019. Her reign as SmackDown Women’s Champion lasted an impressive 379 days, beginning in 2019 and ending in 2020 when Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone) defeated her at Hell in a Cell.
