KOZ Ent responds to BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s reported feature in Zico’s upcoming song and music video
KOZ Entertainment, the agency representing Zico, has addressed the rumors surrounding BLACKPINK’s Jennie potentially featuring on the South Korean rapper’s upcoming comeback track. According to a report by Ten Asia on April 4, Jennie is rumored to be collaborating with Zico on his latest song and will also make an appearance in his music video.
It has been reported that the filming of the music video has been completed, although the agency has yet to confirm this. This is because they are currently busy preparing for the comeback of the Any Song singer.
According to Xports, a representative from KOZ Entertainment stated,
“Zico is currently preparing for his comeback in April. Please understand that it is difficult to confirm other matters.”

Zico, also known as Woo Ji-ho, has gained recognition in the Korean Hip-hop scene for his incredible rapping abilities. He has established himself as a prominent figure in the industry as a K-pop idol, songwriter, record producer, and hip-hop rapper. His notable tracks, including Any Song, Okay Dokey, New Thing, Seoul Drift, have contributed to his widespread popularity.
The artist is said to be fully prepared for his return to the music scene with his highly anticipated comeback track, scheduled to drop in April 2024. He rose to fame as a member of the popular K-pop group BLOCK B on April 14, 2011, and subsequently launched his solo career in 2014. This upcoming release holds a special significance for both the fans and the artist as it marks his 10th anniversary as a solo artist.
Additionally, there is a great sense of excitement among fans as this will be his first music release since his last mini-album, Grown Ass Kid, 21 months ago in July 2022. In addition to his comeback, the singer also teased some details about BOYNEXTDOOR’s upcoming album which is set to be released in April.
In the previous year, Zico successfully launched a K-pop boy group through his agency KOZ Entertainment. The group gained widespread recognition for their catchy music. Recently, Zico made an appearance on MBC World’s show, Reveal My Star’s Life- The Manager, where he gave the host a tour of the HYBE BUILDING. During the tour, a clip showed the cover of the boy group’s upcoming album, HOW?, lying on Zico’s desk.
Despite this, fans did not notice this detail during the episode’s airing and only became aware of it after the announcement of the album’s release. BOYNEXTDOOR’s second EP, HOW?, is scheduled to be released on April 15, 2024, reportedly before Zico’s comeback.
The Latest Collaborations of BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Zico
In June 2024, she made headlines after reports surfaced that she would be making a solo comeback with a new album. However, her agency quickly responded, stating that no official confirmation has been made regarding the album.
Jennie from BLACKPINK is currently starring as one of the main members on the ongoing variety show, Apartment 404, alongside Yoo Jae-suk, Cha Tae-hyun, Lee Jung-ha, Oh Na-ra, and Yang Se-chan. The show is set to have a total of 8 episodes, with episode 6 already airing on March 29. The final episode is scheduled to air on April 12, 2024, much to the excitement of fans.
The program is broadcasted every Friday on tvN and can be accessed by viewers in South Korea through the OTT platforms TVING. For international viewers, the show is available on Amazon Prime Video. Additionally, the BORN PINK singer has achieved a remarkable feat with her solo debut single SOLO, becoming the first female K-pop solo artist to reach 1 billion views on YouTube.
Meanwhile, in April 2023, Zico was showcased in PENOMECO’s album [Rorschach] Part 1. He lent his talents to two tracks, RINDAMAN and PEW!, featured on the album.
On November 2, 2023, he joined forces with well-known musicians such as Jessi, B.I., Jay Park, CHANGMO, Gaeko, and Padi to release a remix version of the popular song “Smoke”by Dynamic Duo.
