“It’s been a rollercoaster ride” – Naomi explains why she decided to return to WWE after walking out in 2022

After a successful run in TNA, Naomi commented on her decision to return to WWE.

In 2022, she and her former tag team partner Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone) left the company during an episode of Monday Night RAW. She then joined TNA Wrestling, where she competed under her birth name Trinity. In TNA, she was consistently successful, winning most of her matches and becoming the TNA Knockouts World Champion. Her unexpected comeback to WWE occurred in January as a participant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

During a recent interview with Going Ringside, Naomi expressed that her decision to return to WWE was driven by her strong connection to the company, which she considers her home and family. She also shared that she never had any doubts about going back to WWE.

“It’s been a rollercoaster ride, but it’s been a great journey and I’m extremely excited and happy to be back. Working my way back to the top. WWE is home. It was never a doubt about returning. It was just a matter of when and me wanting to prove some things and do some things that I needed to do for myself. I did that. I accomplished that. It was just time. I missed it so much. WWE is always family,”said Naomi. (H/T Fightful)
