Injured WWE star makes interesting claim about her return

A WWE Superstar who was injured has made a noteworthy statement regarding her future return. The company has had numerous top stars suffer from injuries leading up to this year’s WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia.

Despite suffering a torn ACL in January, Cora Jade’s absence from the ring will continue for the foreseeable future. The injury took place during a house show match against NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria on January 12. In her place, Roxanne Perez, Jade’s former tag team partner, will be stepping up to challenge Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver this weekend.

The 23-year-old posted on her Instagram story today, discussing her injury and the progress she has made in her recovery. She mentioned that she is currently three months into her recovery and still has six more months to go. However, she stated that her goal is to return in five months, as stated in her message below.

“3 months out, 6 to go (we’ll aim for 5),”she wrote.

Charlotte Flair’s WWE comeback predicted by father Ric Flair

Ric Flair, the wrestling legend, has recently indicated that his daughter will be back in action sooner than anticipated.

Similar to Cora Jade, Charlotte Flair is currently sidelined due to a major injury. During her match against Asuka on the December 8, 2023 episode of SmackDown, The Queen tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus. As a result, she will be absent for a considerable period of time, including this year’s WWE WrestleMania.

In January, during an interview on Busted Open Radio, The Nature Boy stated that his daughter is making good progress in her recovery. He also mentioned that she will make her return to the WWE ring sooner than anyone anticipates.

“Her recovery, she’s crushing it. She’s actually going to come back faster than they will ever recommend. That’s unbelievable. I thought that might be one of the biggest compliments anybody could ever get. I mean, it’s unfortunate that it had to come from a doctor in a hospital, but I keep telling people, man, she’s a different kind of cat,”he said. [H/T: WrestlingNews]
