In preparation for her upcoming tennis return, Emma Raducanu recently attended the birthday celebration of Simone Ashley, the actress from Bridgerton.

At the 2024 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Raducanu competed for the last time. She advanced to the third round of the tournament after defeating Rebeka Masarova in the first round and Dayana Yastremska in the second round, who retired during their match. However, she was eliminated in the next round by World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka.

Despite receiving a wild card, Emma Raducanu was anticipated to participate in the Miami Open following her departure from Indian Wells. However, the British player withdrew from the WTA 1000 tournament before her scheduled match against Wang Xiyu, citing a lower back injury. She has since returned to her home country and resumed her training on clay.

Despite her busy preparations, the 2021 US Open champion made time for a night out with friends to attend Bridgerton actress Simone Ashley’s birthday celebrations.

On her 29th birthday, which fell on March 30, Ashley celebrated with her friends and even took some photos with Raducanu. She expressed her gratitude to her “love”for organizing such a memorable day and also thanked her friends for being there.

“Thank you to my love for organizing the best day ever. I adore all my friends so much,”she wrote on Instagram.

Despite undergoing multiple surgeries resulting in an eight-month hiatus, Emma Raducanu made her return to the tennis court at the 2024 ASB Classic in January. Unfortunately, she was eliminated in the second round by eventual runner-up Elina Svitolina.

Despite facing opening-round losses at the Qatar Open and second-round exits at the Australian Open and the Abu Dhabi Open, Raducanu was determined to perform well in her campaign at Indian Wells.

Emma Raducanu is looking forward to achieving improved outcomes for her claycourt season. The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) has recently released footage of the former World No. 10 training on clay at the National Tennis Centre in London in anticipation of her comeback.

The British athlete is preparing to make a comeback to the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers. Along with her fellow countrywomen Katie Boulter, Heather Watson, and Harriet Dart, she will proudly represent her home nation. The British team is scheduled to compete against France [April 12-13] for a spot in the Finals held in November. The competition will be held at Le Chaudron in Le Portel, France.

After participating in the Billie Jean King Cup, Raducanu is set to take part in the WTA 500 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart (April 15-21).
