Finding: Lymantria is a creature that cannot be tamed passively and must be actively tamed. In order to tame a Lymantria in Ark Survival Ascended, you must first find one and approach it with caution. As the creature will fly away, it is recommended to leave any large flying or land tames behind before attempting to approach it.

To prepare for capturing the Lymantria, use a bola to immobilize it. This will prevent it from escaping or attacking. After immobilizing it, cover the creature with a tent to prevent it from flying away. Once it is trapped, use standard or tranquiliser arrows to take it down. Avoid using strong weapons, as the Lymantria has low health and may die if attacked aggressively.

Preparation: During the taming process, the Lymantira may release spores as a defense mechanism. To avoid getting hit, move away from the creature while attempting to knock it down. Once it has been successfully knocked down, begin taming by offering its preferred food, Mejoberries or Regular Kibble. The taming bar will gradually fill as the creature consumes its preferred food.

The process of filling the taming bar may require a significant amount of time, and it is important to ensure the safety of both the Lymantria and yourself from any hostile creatures in the vicinity. Once the bar has been completely filled, the Lymantria will have been successfully tamed.
