In a recent discussion, director and videographer Choke No Joke addressed serious allegations regarding actor Jamie Foxx’s hospitalization in 2023, specifically implicating music mogul Diddy. This conversation unfolded during a video published by Comedy Hype on their YouTube channel on November 1. Choke disclosed that at a special screening for Foxx’s upcoming Netflix special, What Had Happened Was, on October 7, Foxx alleged that Diddy was responsible for “poisoning”him.
The Allegations Against Diddy
Choke elaborated on past incidents involving Jamie Foxx and Diddy’s entourage, suggesting that Foxx had previously been confronted by bodyguards for filming at a party. Choke stated,
“Jamie allegedly was filming and allegedly did. He told the ni*ga, don’t film or something, or whatever…”
He continued, claiming that following this altercation, an incident occurred that led to Foxx being hospitalized after taking a pill provided by Diddy’s bodyguard. Choke claimed:
“…it’s alleged that Diddy’s bodyguard allegedly did something to Jamie and then after that allegedly Jamie was given a pill… and that pill put him in the hospital.”
The video featured statements from three witnesses present at Foxx’s comedy screening, who corroborated the actor’s claims. According to a report by Page Six on October 24, Foxx suggested that Diddy was linked to his “mystery illness.”
Exploring the Comedic Context
Choke also highlighted the ambiguity surrounding Foxx’s statements in his Netflix special. While humor can play a significant role in storytelling, he questioned whether the allegations were meant to be taken seriously or were simply comedic embellishments. Choke commented:
“He can make fun of his illness. I think he can be okay, but you’re saying that he said it on the special and it was a comedy special. Then it may be that that was a joke.”
These claims aligned with past comments made by Foxx, where he reportedly stated that Diddy was responsible for his health issues. According to further reports, Foxx allegedly revealed:
“Diddy was responsible for what happened to him, and [Foxx] is the one who called the FBI on [Combs].”
Support from Industry Insiders
On October 19, another key witness, celebrity bodyguard Big Homie, shared his perspective on the matter with Cam Capone News, asserting that Foxx had indeed reported Diddy to the FBI. He claimed:
“Well, I know he poisoned Jamie Foxx. And Jamie Foxx reported him to the FBI because of it.”
He further alleged that Foxx had ingested contaminated drinks at a club, which purportedly led to him testing positive for cyanide and suffering multiple instances of pneumonia.
Moreover, in an interview with The Art of Dialogue on October 28, Freddy P, a former associate of Diddy, alleged that the music mogul was connected to serious health challenges faced by various celebrities, including Jamie Foxx and Justin Bieber. He contended:
“He’s playing a medical warfare game.”
Foxx’s Own Account of His Health Crisis
In an earlier, undated video that circulated on social media, Jamie Foxx provided insight into his own health struggles. He described severe symptoms that lasted for over three weeks, stating:
“I was gone for 20 days. I don’t remember anything… My sister and my daughter took me to the first doctor.”
Despite the numerous claims and testimonies, as of now, these allegations remain unverified, and Diddy is currently incarcerated.
