Detailed patch notes for the Slap Battles Halloween update
Spooky lobby, Zombies sub-place, and gravestone obby features
The lobby has been reimagined with a Halloween twist, shifting from its vibrant colors to a darker palette of blacks and oranges. This makeover fits perfectly with the eerie atmosphere associated with the season, allowing players to immerse themselves in the Halloween spirit.
Enhancing the horror elements, a new sub-place called Zombies has been added, which can be accessed every 10 minutes. Players need to discover a portal located at the back of the Default Only Arena and successfully navigate through the gravestone obby to enter. It’s a race against other players to reach the portal first, as it permits entry to only the first three participants.
This Zombies area functions as a survival challenge, where players face off against waves of enemies to collect points and rewards. The goal is to accumulate as many points as you can before being overwhelmed by the zombies and to earn rewards for your endurance.
Introduction of new gloves and badges
The Zombies area serves as the key location for obtaining the brand new glove, Poltergeist, along with the Fetch me their Souls badge. Players earn the badge after defeating 10 waves of zombies, which subsequently awards them the Poltergeist glove. Additionally, several classic gloves have made a comeback in the Random Gloves Box found within the Zombies map. These include the woah, Barrel, Rojo, and Kraken gloves.
Moreover, four gloves from past Halloween events have been reintroduced in the current update: Hallow Jack, Necromancer, Witch, and Rattlebones. Each glove comes with its corresponding badge, an essential component for acquiring the gloves.
The badges to collect are Jack’s Will for Hallow Jack, Sweet-Tooth Sovereign for Necromancer, Candy King for Rattlebones, and Witch Brew for Witch.
