Completing The Last Cask in Octopath Traveler 0

Upon finishing Chapter 1 of Master of Wealth, players will unlock this exciting secondary mission in Valore. Initially, you’ll encounter a troubled Merchant in the Main Boulevard of the town, who reveals that he’s struggling to sell his Last Cask of Valore Vintage Liquor.

By accepting his request to assist him, you take on the challenge of locating a buyer for the unique liquor. The critical question now is: Where can you find this enigmatic buyer?

Your quest leads you to the bustling town of Teathropolis, located in the Flatlands Region. To get there, simply head from Valore via the Valore Trail, then turn east toward the West Emberglow Wilds. Continue eastward until you reach North Teathropolis Plains, then head south to arrive at Teathropolis itself.

If you encounter difficulties with aggressive monsters along the way, consider adjusting your formation. Access the party menu and switch between your Front Row (Vanguard) and Back Row (Rearguard) characters. This strategy allows your frontline to engage in combat while the backing members recover and utilize support skills. Additionally, remember that you can toggle between party members during a character’s turn by pressing ZR.

Once you arrive in Teathropolis, look for the Tavern, identifiable by a beer mug icon next to its entrance. When you step inside, navigate to the upper right corner to find an NPC dressed in red, ready to be engaged.

Activate the Path Action Key (Y on Switch) and choose Inquire. The NPC will mention their fondness for liquor from Valore, which is crucial for progressing in The Last Cask quest. To finalize the deal, scroll to the bottom of the Path Action Menu and select Hire.

Upon successfully enlisting the Noble Liquor Connoisseur as your helper, return to Valore. Speak with the Merchant once more to conclude the quest and earn a reward of 3500 Leafs for your efforts.
