Former WWE Divas Champion opens up about what working with Vince McMahon was like
Despite facing serious allegations of assault from a former employee, Janel Grant, Vince McMahon’s reputation has been called into question in the past few months. Many have shared their opinions on the situation, including a former WWE Divas Champion who recently spoke out.
Kelly Kelly, a former WWE Superstar and one-time Divas Champion, was recently featured on an episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet. During the interview, she discussed her wrestling career and her experience working with Vince McMahon.
Despite facing heavy criticism due to recent events, Vince McMahon has received praise from Kelly Kelly. She stated that, contrary to popular belief, McMahon was an excellent boss. The former champion had only positive things to say about her former boss, describing him as highly professional and a pleasure to work with.
“I always looked at him like he was my boss. I only went to him only once, and that was when I wanted to become Divas Champion. I only saw him during rehearsal. This is rehearsals and he was like on it. Like, ‘Here we go! Okay! Rehearse done on the next one!’ Just so professional, like, just an amazing boss, literally! I have nothing but amazing things!”said Kelly Kelly. [H/T: Insight with Chris Van Vliet]
Despite Kelly Kelly’s praise for Mr. McMahon, she is not the only person who has spoken highly of him. Former world champions such as John Cena and Becky Lynch have also expressed their appreciation for their former boss. However, there has been a growing number of critics for Mr. McMahon as time goes on.
CM Punk calls out Vince McMahon for unethical behavior
Despite their troubled relationship, CM Punk, like many others, has openly criticized and condemned Vince McMahon for his actions. This tension was evident during Punk’s initial tenure with the company. However, the recent allegations against McMahon have left The Voice of the Voiceless in utter disbelief.
During an interview on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, The Second-City Saint discussed various topics such as his departure from AEW and his thoughts on Tony Khan. It was no surprise that the subject of Mr. McMahon was brought up, and Punk stated that he believed the former’s actions were “unjustifiable.”
Despite the growing number of allegations against Vince McMahon, it remains uncertain how the situation will ultimately be resolved. Multiple individuals have accused him of assault, but the outcome is yet to be determined.
