Chapter 1 & 2

After completing the introductory battle against the Dreglord and unlocking the character Undertaker, players can select her for any Expedition. The progression in the first chapter occurs seamlessly, transitioning smoothly into the second chapter, where players must obtain a Memory Fragment. The sole method to achieve this is by defeating any Nightlord, so players may want to target newly introduced bosses like the Balancers or opt for an easier defeat against the Tricephalos.

Chapter 3

Once players complete the second chapter and return to the Roundtable, the third chapter can begin. This chapter will teleport players to face the Iron Menial. Initial dialogue with this boss will turn combative; after defeating him, he will summon additional Nightfarers. Prioritize eliminating the Executor first before advancing.

Upon accessing the Roundtable area, players will confront the Guardian and the Recluse. It is advisable to use the Ultimate Art if it can effectively target both foes; otherwise, conserve it for a more crucial moment.

Additionally, players must prepare for a battle against the Wylder near the Small Jar Bazaar, followed by a troublesome encounter with Raider and Ironeye in the room where Undertaker was initially unlocked. After overcoming all Nightfarers, approach the chapel where Iron Menial will reappear for a crucial conversation, followed by a quest to smash the wall and absorb the Power of the Night.

Following this task, players will hear footsteps leading them to the Garden, where they can confront the Scholar. Engaging with him concludes this chapter and rewards players with the Leather Monocle Case.

Chapter 4 & 5

The fourth chapter involves collecting Memory Fragments, necessitating another Expedition. During this round, players will need to eliminate a Nightlord. Upon returning, they will commence the fifth chapter by visiting the Chapel and offering a prayer. A conversation with the Iron Menial reveals a lead on finding the Scholar once the new Shifting Earth takes place. If this event isn’t active, players can purchase the necessary tools for two Sovereign Sigils from the Collector Signboard.

For completion, venture to the Expeditions table and select the Balancers during the Great Hollow event. Upon dropping onto the map, navigate towards the northwest section. If starting from the top, utilize the Spectral Hawk Tree to reach the intended building effortlessly.

Although tackling this quest isn’t urgent right away, players are encouraged to engage early as there are no mandatory confrontations during the quest, allowing for completion at level 1.

Proceed through the designated gap; avoid the crab, instead favoring the ledge to the right and proceeding to the courtyard, where the Godskin Duo awaits, although there’s no requirement to engage them.

Chapter 6 & 7

Chapter six can be somewhat perplexing; it doesn’t present a clear initiation. Players must load the Night Aspect Expedition while controlling Undertaker and defeat the designated foe. This challenge may be daunting, but forming a duo or trio might ease the load. Upon eliminating the Nightlord, the Dismembered Finger will appear in your inventory.

Next, proceed to the Roundtable Hold. To advance the quest, drop the finger right before approaching the tree. Success will generate dialogue confirming your actions were correct. After the drop, engage with the corpse nearby to conclude this chapter and complete the sixth chapter.
