Dragon’s Dogma 2 offers a variety of ten vocations, each with its own unique fighting style to help you conquer the numerous foes you will encounter during your journey. Every vocation is enjoyable to utilize, encouraging you to experiment with all of them before selecting your preferred one.
In order to accomplish this, you will need to unlock certain vocations beforehand. One such vocation is the Trickster, a distinct role that places the Arisen in a primarily supportive position.
Unlocking the Trickster Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2
In order to unlock the Trickster vocation, progress must be made in the main story. This involves reaching the Kingdom of Battahl, which is inaccessible until the Nation of the Lambent Flame quest is initiated. As part of this quest, access to Battahl can be gained by traveling to the Checkpoint Rest Town and obtaining a permit from Captain Brant. It is important to note that only a Beastren or someone pretending to be one, by wearing a mask, can gain entry. The required mask can be purchased from Ibrahim’s Scrap Store in the Rest Town.
After gaining access to Battahl, make your way to a shrine south of the Checkpoint Rest Town. There, you can speak with Luz and unlock the Trickster vocation. This vocation is exclusive to the Arisen and is known for its unique abilities in the game.
