Embarking on the journey in Isola Sacra presents players with nothing but a tattered outfit and aspirations. The quest titled No Rest for the Wicked can be particularly perplexing due to the intricacies of the map and quest design, making its completion a potential challenge. This guide aims to clarify the process and ease players into their adventure.
Your Guide to the No Rest for the Wicked Quest

Given the expansive and open structure of the game’s map, this guide will primarily focus on essential locations relevant to the quest, skipping over areas that players can engage with later, unless they hold crucial items or resources.
Upon completing the tutorial, players will find themselves on a beach. The quest truly begins once you engage with the ailing ship captain positioned to the left. Before doing that, head directly north towards the murky water puddle. After reaching the water, turn eastward to discover a path curving back north. Navigate through a damaged sewer grate to uncover a hideaway containing a chest filled with random initial loot.
Note that the items you receive at the start are entirely random. In cases where you have no weapons at your disposal, try using parry techniques against your enemies and aim for backstab attacks without arms.

Return to the ailing captain and proceed across the bridge. At the western edge of the beach, a ruined tower awaits. Enter through the broken wall facing the ocean and interact with the Whisper inside; this will serve as your point for fast travel and respawning.
Exit and head north from the nearby campfire to find the entrance to Mariner’s Keep, currently occupied by Risen rebels. Expect a significant amount of combat from this point onward, and remember that dying can damage your gear. Too much death can lead to your equipment suffering permanent loss.
Many side routes within Mariner’s Keep require thorough exploration and will ultimately converge back to the main path. Note that you can’t access the door that needs the West Bridge Key until later in the game.

Clear out the courtyard from enemies and take a moment to explore.Locate another Whisper near the steps by the bonfire. Once registered, venture east of the bonfire to confront additional enemies and a locked gate, which you’ll need a gate lever to open. This handle is located by rescuing the blacksmith from the nearby mess hall.
Locating the Gate Lever Handle

After defeating the enemies near the gate, locate the Mess Hall Key by pushing through a broken wall to the south, where you will find a body on a ledge.

Return to the bonfire and navigate along the wall at the bottom of the screen. Continue until you find the entrance to the mess hall, where the blacksmith Fillmore is under threat from bandits. Defeat these foes and then converse with Fillmore to obtain the Gate Lever Handle.

To use the Gate Lever Handle, head back out and utilize a nearby cart to ascend to the catwalk along the northern wall.Follow this pathway to the east to find the gate lever slot.
Fillmore offers a selection of goods and will also purchase items from you. Be sure to speak with him if you want to acquire a stronger starting weapon for your journey in No Rest for the Wicked.
Exploring the Orban Glades

Push through the newly opened gate and engage in battle against the foes there. You will encounter a raised bridge blocking your path. Utilize the nearby elevator to ascend to a tower linked to the other side. After clearing the two enemies atop, further proceed to the east to find Lara and Reed resting by a campfire. Engage with them and lower the bridge for future use.

After clearing the nearby area, continue east to find another Whisper. At this location, you can choose from three potential paths:
- Ascend the mountain path near the campfire to engage with additional enemies and gather loot.
- Travel south of the Whisper and climb a vine wall to face even more foes and acquire more loot.
- Follow the path eastward to confront the game’s first boss.
Remember, chests and item pickups will eventually refresh and their contents will always be randomized. Therefore, it’s wise to pursue both side routes for loot and experience points.
We stress the importance of exploring side paths to acquire additional resources and experience prior to tackling the initial boss, who can prove quite challenging. Moreover, the hidden path south leads to a small shrine area filled with cooking ingredients for crafting healing items.
Confronting Warrick the Torn

Warrick presents a formidable challenge with his giant sword and aggressive combat style. Players must be cautious of his positioning, as falling off the arena’s edges can lead to an instant death. Moreover, in cooperative mode, be vigilant of friendly fire.
Fortunately, Warrick’s attacks move slowly, making them easier to parry. Although he may not be the most complex of bosses, succeed by dodging his attacks and striking back effectively. Defeating him has the possibility of dropping the Corpse Smearing Blade, a unique two-handed sword equipped with Runes and special Enchantments.
To master parrying within No Rest for the Wicked, practice timing your parry for the moment your opponent’s attack lands.
Finding the Rookery

After defeating Warrick, your next destination is the Rookery—a towering structure overseeing the town of Sacrament. It is located at the top of the town, so if you find yourself disoriented, follow the stairs leading upward. The guards in the area will also provide guidance.
Upon reaching the Rookery, engage with Roan and the Watcher to conclude the quest, paving the path for your continued adventure in the game.
