Among these fresh additions, players can uncover thrilling challenges, including the enigmatic Blood Moon Ritual Easter Egg, set within a universe filled with Zombies lore.

Exploring Haven’s Hollow and the Blood Moon Ritual

Haven’s Hollow is poised to become a favorite Resurgence map, featuring iconic locations such as the infamous Mansion from Shattered Veil and Liberty Falls. The integration of Zombies themes allows for unique gameplay experiences, offering players multiple Easter Eggs to discover, including a challenging quest to complete the Blood Moon Ritual.

Step 1: Collect the Three Ritual Items

To embark on the Blood Moon Ritual, your first task is to locate and collect three specific items hidden throughout Haven’s Hollow. Given the items’ dispersed locations, teaming up with at least one other player is highly advisable.

As a helpful preliminary action, consider visiting the Research Center to acquire a transparency sheet. This item is located on the second floor and can be projected to reveal the locations of your three quest items. Although this step is optional, it can streamline your search, as each item has three spawn locations in its respective area of interest.

Blood Vial: Location at the Research Center

The first ritual item, the Blood Vial, is exclusively found within the medical lab on the second floor of the Research Center. Here’s how to locate it:

Access the lab by entering through the north roof, and look for a centrifuge in the first room on the left.
Advance past the first centrifuge to discover another one hidden under a trolley.
From the second centrifuge, turn right, enter the Executive Office, and find the last centrifuge on a shelf inside.

Eldritch Stone: Location at Coal Depot

Next, head over to the Coal Depot for the Eldritch Stone. Here, you will find three yellow safety helmets, one of which is upright. The Eldritch Stone can be uncovered by meleeing the correct helmet:

The helmets can be found:

In the northern corner of the main building.
In a pile of coal in the eastern section.
Next to a barrel south of these locations.

Animal Bones: Location at the Pond

The final item, Animal Bones, is located under one of three wooden structures around the Pond area. Look for it:

Near the center of the pond.
To the west of the pond’s center.
Under the stairs supporting the small wooden shack in the southeast corner.

To collect the bones, simply go prone in the vicinity of each marked location.

Be cautious when carrying these items; if you get eliminated, they will drop along with your gear. However, if your team is still alive or you are revived, you can return to retrieve them.

Step 2: Activating the Blood Moon Ritual Circle at the Mansion

Once you’ve gathered all three ritual items, your next destination is the Mansion’s attic. There you’ll find both a gramophone and a mirror. Follow these steps to activate the ritual circle:

Interact with the gramophone to initiate music playback.
Throw a Psych Grenade on yourself to trigger hallucinations. You can find one nearby.
While affected by the grenade, interact with the mirror.
A note will appear beside the gramophone. Be ready for a surprise when you interact with it!

After these actions, three glowing red symbols will manifest in the attic, corresponding to each item you collected earlier: the Blood Vial, Animal Bones, and Eldritch Stone. You can complete steps 1 and 2 in any order for convenience.

Step 3: Complete the Ritual Symbol Activation for Uln’drn

With the symbols noted, make your way to the eastern side of the Barn, which features a blood circle marked with several symbols. Here’s how to successfully finalize the ritual:

Place each item on the corresponding symbol as indicated in the Mansion’s attic.

Upon successful placement, an altar will spawn at the center of the circle, along with the legendary Uln’drn Sword. It is recommended to have teammates while doing this:

One player should secure the sword and maintain their health.
Team members should focus on eliminating enemies near the Barn to charge the blood circle.

Be aware that the sword carrier loses the ability to refill their armor and cannot drop the sword, making it vital for teammates to support them through combat.

Finalizing the Blood Moon Ritual

The blood circle will function as a soul box, absorbing the essence of defeated players as they fall in battle around it.Defeat five players to complete the pentagram! Once completed, return the sword to the altar.

Upon successful completion of the Blood Moon Ritual, players will witness the transformation of the skybox into a blood moon ensconced in sinister tentacles, rewarding each participant with the End or Beginning Calling Card and 10, 000 XP. Additionally, all players who finish the ritual gain a celestial glow and can see outlined enemies on the map.

Keep in mind that if the sword bearer is eliminated, they will drop the sword, presenting an opportunity for rival players to seize it and potentially claim the Easter Egg for themselves if they return it to the altar.

Lastly, ensure that the blood circle receives enough souls; otherwise, it may become inactive.
