Cody Rhodes makes a promise to fans after getting attacked by The Rock on WWE RAW last week

Despite enduring a brutal beatdown from The Rock on WWE RAW earlier this week, Cody Rhodes still competed at this Sunday’s house show in Syracuse, New York. The American Nightmare also made a statement after emerging victorious in the main event.

Cody will have a busy WrestleMania XL as he is set to compete on both nights. On Night 1, he will join forces with Seth Rollins to take on The Rock and Roman Reigns in a tag team match. Then, on Night 2, he will step into the ring to challenge the Tribal Chief for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. This comes after Cody was brutally assaulted by The Brahma Bull on this week’s episode of RAW, resulting in a bloody ending to the show.

Despite this, Rhodes managed to attend the Road to WrestleMania live events in Manchester and Syracuse this week, appearing on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The former AEW wrestler emerged victorious in a Street Fight against Drew McIntyre at both shows. Following his triumph over The Scottish Warrior in Syracuse, Cody took the opportunity to address the audience, assuring them that when he returns to the city, he will be the undisputed WWE Universal Champion. The American Nightmare also extended his Easter well-wishes to the fans.

Cody Rhodes and The Rock Confirmed for Upcoming WWE RAW Appearance

The upcoming edition of RAW, which is the last before WrestleMania XL, will showcase appearances by all four wrestlers set to compete at The Showcase of the Immortals: Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Rock.

Last week, The American Nightmare suffered a brutal attack from The Brahma Bull and is expected to retaliate. However, he will face a tough challenge with his cousin, Roman Reigns, by his side.

Additionally, Cody Rhodes must remain vigilant of Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, as it is probable that the duo will join the red brand alongside other members of the Bloodline. At WrestleMania XL, Jimmy is set to compete against his twin brother Jey Uso, while Solo currently does not have a scheduled match.
