BigHit Music, the managing agency for BTS, confirmed this announcement on Tuesday, highlighting that the concert will occur on March 21, just a day after the group releases their newest studio album, “Arirang, ”on March 20. The increase in available spots has been facilitated by the introduction of new standing zones along the Sejong-daero, stretching from the Gwanghwamun intersection to City Hall Station. This arrangement aims to enhance the audience’s experience while managing the overall crowd density within the main square.

Fans eager to secure a spot in the new standing sections can do so starting March 12 at 8 p.m. KST via the NOL Ticket platform. Each individual is limited to one ticket, and the ticketing process remains free. Importantly, existing reservations for the previously allocated seats will not be impacted, ensuring fans who have already booked do not need to reapply.

BigHit Music has made it clear that the expansion of capacity prioritizes public safety and effective crowd management. With projections suggesting that over 200, 000 people could gather in the vicinity of Gwanghwamun, including non-ticketed onlookers, local police and city officials will manage the area akin to a temporary stadium. Moreover, organizers are committed to combatting ticket scalping and illegal resales. They will intensify identity checks at entry points and monitor secondary markets to prevent unauthorized transfers, ensuring that tickets go to genuine fans only.

Access to the defined viewing sections will be restricted to individuals holding valid advance tickets. For fans unable to attend in person, the concert will be broadcast live on Netflix, extending the experience to a global audience.
