Affordable Gaming: 007 First Light Updated System Requirements with Lower RAM and VRAM Recommendations

Earlier this month, IO Interactive sparked considerable interest by releasing the minimum and recommended PC specifications for the eagerly awaited game, 007 First Light. Among the specifications, the recommendation of 32GB of RAM for 1080p at 60 frames per second gameplay raised some eyebrows, hinting at possible optimization challenges for players with various system setups.

Fortunately, there is no need to invest heavily in additional RAM during the current memory crisis to achieve a decent gaming experience at 1080p.

In a recent update on their official X profile, the developers stated, “We are providing today an update to the PC system requirements for 007 First Light after the community flagged some inconsistencies in an earlier version of the listing.”They further explained that after a meticulous re-examination and testing, the recommended RAM has been corrected from 32GB to 16GB, VRAM values have been adjusted, and the minimum CPU specifications have been refined. Additional performance metrics will be shared as the launch date approaches, and the updated requirements are now reflected on various store pages.
