“Bro is a movie star” – Fans get excited as Dustin Poirier posts collab promo of Dev Patel’s ‘Monkey Man’

Dustin Poirier caused a stir among fans when he shared a collaboration promo for Dev Patel’s highly anticipated action thriller ‘Monkey Man’ on Instagram.

Patel’s debut as a director, ‘Monkey Man’, follows an underground fighter’s crusade against oppressive elites and corrupt leaders. As the film’s main protagonist is notorious for his use of violence, it comes as no shock that the promoters enlisted Poirier to aid in the movie’s marketing.

In a recent Instagram video, uploaded to his handle, ‘The Diamond’ can be observed mirroring scenes from the film. He also delivers a powerful message about the determination and perseverance necessary to turn dreams into reality.

Shortly after the video was posted, fans quickly made their way to the comments section to share their thoughts.

A fan made a comparison to Poirier’s longtime rival Conor McGregor’s debut movie ‘Road House’ and commented:

“Yo, f**k the ‘Road House’ movie.”

A different admirer praised the Louisiana native’s portrayal in the movie trailer and wrote:

“Bro is a movie star and ain’t even been in a movie yet.”

A user wrote:

“Dustin would make a better movie star than Conor.”

Confirmed: Dustin Poirier to star in Dev Patel’s ‘Monkey Man’ as Hollywood debut

Today, Dustin Poirier remains one of the most beloved UFC stars. His expertise in boxing and undeniable entertainment value have solidified him as a top lightweight contender. Inside the octagon, he has consistently delivered unforgettable performances.

Poirier recently secured an impressive second-round knockout win against Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 299, avenging his previous BMF title defeat to Justin Gaethje at UFC 291. He is currently setting his sights on a matchup with Islam Makhachev in hopes of claiming the undisputed UFC lightweight championship.

Despite Poirier’s busy schedule of training for fights and working towards reclaiming the 155-pound title, it is highly unlikely that he was able to make an appearance in the ‘Monkey Man’ movie.

According to IMDB, while Poirier may not be a part of the main cast, his recent Instagram post promoting the film reveals that he has a paid partnership with @monkeymanmovie. Based on this information, it seems unlikely that Poirier will have a role in the actual movie. However, he may play a role in the marketing and promotion of the film.
