Becky Lynch gets candid about her relationship with Charlotte Flair

Becky Lynch has disclosed details about her romantic involvement with fellow WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair.

Despite being both allies and rivals, the two stars have often faced each other in the ring throughout the years. However, their relationship took a turn several years ago when The Queen appeared to deviate from the planned script during their women’s title exchange segment on a 2021 episode of SmackDown, causing a falling out between them.

Becky Lynch, the star of RAW, claimed in her latest book, Becky Lynch The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, that Charlotte intentionally deviated from the planned script. This resulted in Lynch confronting The Queen backstage and shouting obscenities in front of Vince McMahon.

According to a recent interview with TMZ, Becky Lynch discussed her current relationship with Charlotte Flair and stated:

“She’s [Charlotte] been a huge part of my journey in every capacity and such an important part as best friends then as enemies and a fallout. I talk about that from my perspective. Also, the undercurrent of all of it is love, right? Because it’s always the people that you love the most that maybe hurt you the most and I know I’ve hurt her, and it’s been reciprocal. I think when you can come back from all of that, that’s a special thing,”said Lynch.

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair’s once intense rivalry has simmered down

Over the years, the relationship between Big Time Becks and the former SmackDown Women’s Champion has improved. They were even on the same team during the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series last year.

According to Becky Lynch’s interview with ET, any hostility between her and Charlotte Flair has dissipated and their relationship is now in a positive place.

“I don’t know that it’ll ever go back to where it was. It will be something different, you know? We’re good. We’re good now, and I think that’s the trials and tribulations of life, you know? You fall out with people, and hopefully, you can get to a point where you can own your mistakes and you can move on from that,”she said.

Despite Charlotte Flair being injured with a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus, Becky will still be competing at WrestleMania XL, where she will face off against Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship.
