ASRock Unveils NUC Ultra 300 Box Mini PCs Featuring Advanced Intel Core Ultra Processors

In a recent unveiling, ASRock has introduced its highly anticipated NUC Ultra 300 Box series, equipped with the state-of-the-art Intel Core Ultra 300 processors. Although the announcement came last month, the models have just been added to the official website, finalizing the company’s selection of WeUs. This new series takes the place of the previous NUC Box 200 series and offers four distinct mini PC configurations.

The NUC Ultra 300 series presents industrial embedded BOX mini PCs, available with either the budget-friendly Intel Core Ultra 5 325 or the high-performance Core Ultra X7 358H. Each model offers identical specifications but differs in chassis design. Notably, the “NUC”variant includes a larger chassis with dual 2.5G LAN ports, while the “NUCS”version opts for a smaller design but sacrifices one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port.

The NUC BOX series model is slightly bulkier, measuring 49 mm thick compared to the 38 mm of the NUCS variant. Both models are offered as barebone units. They support memory upgrades of up to 128 GB of DDR5 using SO-DIMM modules, capable of speeds up to 7200 MT/s. Storage-wise, they’re equipped with dual M.2 ports and a single M.2 Key E slot for WiFi connectivity. The Core Ultra 5 325 variant features an 8-core configuration, while the more robust Core Ultra X7 358H boasts up to 16 cores (4+8+4), complemented by the flagship Arc B390 integrated graphics featuring 12 Xe3 cores.

ASRock promotes the NUC Ultra 300 BOX series as the “Core of Next-Gen AI, ”claiming it can deliver up to 180 AI TOPS through the combined capabilities of CPU, GPU, and NPU. Additionally, these mini PCs include modern connectivity options, such as USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB4/Thunderbolt 4 ports with Alt DP 2.1, and USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C ports with DP1.4a support.
