With only three days left, WWE is gearing up for WrestleMania 40. This highly anticipated live event will once again span two nights, following the trend of the past few years.

The company has released the line-ups for both nights, and the match card appears to be jam-packed. The first evening of the event will feature appearances from The Rock, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, The Judgment Day, and several others.

Anticipate WWE to kick off with a bang and spare no effort in ensuring the first night is a massive triumph.

With that said, here are my four daring predictions for the first night of WrestleMania 40.

#4. Dominik Mysterio interferes in Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Title match at WrestleMania 40

Despite facing the challenge of defending her championship against Becky Lynch this Saturday, Rhea Ripley may also have to contend with the possibility of losing her coveted title due to the unexpected betrayal of Dominik, a member of The Judgment Day.

WWE has been hinting at a split between the duo for a while now and it seems that the company may finally make it happen on Saturday.

Despite the knowledge of fans, Dominik’s appearance on SmackDown to assist Santos Escobar in defeating his father Rey Mysterio and joining forces with the Legado Del Fantasma sparked anger from Rhea Ripley.

Despite receiving an earful, Dom was also required to apologize for his behavior. This could potentially upset Dirty Dom, as he may feel that Ripley is trying to exert too much control over him. If this turns out to be true, Dominik could potentially betray his mother and cause her to lose the Women’s World Title to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 40.

#3. Chad Gable’s Shocking Heel Turn

Despite his best efforts, Chad Gable was unable to secure a showdown with Gunther at the biggest event of the year, The Grandest Stage of Them All. The defeat against Sami Zayn in the Gauntlet Match left the former Olympian devastated. However, this disappointment could potentially pave the way for a significant transformation in Gable’s character at The Show of Shows.

Despite taking on the role of training Sami Zayn for his upcoming match against Gunther, Gable may ultimately betray the former Bloodline member at WrestleMania 40. After Sami’s loss in the Gauntlet Match and being attacked by The Ring General backstage on RAW, Gable could turn heel and sabotage Sami’s chances of defeating Gunther.

#2. Rikishi makes a shocking return to assist Jey Uso in defeating his own cousin, Jimmy Uso, of The Bloodline

This Saturday, Jey Uso and Jimmy will face off in a highly-anticipated brother-versus-brother showdown. Although Jimmy Uso, a member of The Bloodline, will have the advantage with Solo Sikoa by his side, it is possible for the tide to turn if Rikishi makes a surprise return.

The father of The Usos has been hinting at his participation in The Bloodline storyline for almost a year. During WrestleMania 40, the WWE Hall of Famer declared his allegiance to either Jey or Jimmy. As a member of The Bloodline in real life, he supported Jey in his victory over his twin brother at The Show of Shows.

It would come as no surprise if the former champion, having chosen to support Jey in the feud between brothers, were to appear and aid him in his quest for victory. Rikishi’s assistance could lead to Jey triumphing over Jimmy, much to the delight of fans of the WWE.

#1. Epic Showdown: John Cena takes on The Rock and Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat Match

Despite rumors, it is uncertain if 25-time champion John Cena will make an appearance at WrestleMania 40. Fans are eager to see what the company has planned for him at The Show of Shows, and there is speculation that he may even step in to face The Bloodline if Seth Rollins is unable to compete.

As many fans already know, the main event of Night One at WrestleMania 40 will feature Rollins & Rhodes facing off against The Rock & Roman Reigns. However, The Bloodline may pose a threat by targeting The American Nightmare’s partner before the match.

If that is the case, the creative team may consider having Cena make a comeback to take Rollins’ place against the actual members of the Bloodline at the event.
