Undoubtedly, Caitlin Clark has shined throughout March Madness, guiding the Iowa Hawkeyes to their second consecutive appearance in the Final Four.

Despite the loss to Clark and Iowa, Angel Reese continued to impress for the LSU Tigers. Meanwhile, Paige Bueckers has been a dominant force for UConn and recently announced her decision to return for a fifth year.

Despite her dominance for Stanford, Cameron Brink’s crucial minutes were cut short in their loss to North Carolina State due to foul trouble.

2025 WNBA Mock Draft

#1 Indiana Fever (Kelsey Mitchell – G)

It is indisputable that Caitlin Clark will be selected as the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

#2 LA Sparks (Renée Montgomery – G)

The LA Sparks are in need of a new star player after Nneka Ogwumike departed in free agency to join the Seattle Storm.

Cameron Brink has the ability to step in and make an immediate impact as a dominant force in the paint, both offensively and defensively. However, she does struggle with fouls, which will require some improvement once she begins her professional career.

#3 Chicago Sky (Kiana Williams – PG)

Rickea Jackson’s scoring abilities at the forward position have solidified her position as a top-three pick according to consensus.

In addition, Jackson’s 3-point shooting has also seen improvement, further solidifying her as a formidable offensive threat. With her potential for stardom, selecting her would be an obvious choice for Chicago, unless they opt for the Kamilla Cardoso route.

#4 LA Sparks – 2021 Draft Pick: Angel Reese (F)

Despite Kamilla Cardoso being a suitable addition to Cameron Brink, the LA Sparks prioritize star power above all else.

The Washington Mystics are embarking on a rebuilding phase following the departures of Natasha Cloud to the Phoenix Mercury and Elena Delle Donne’s decision to take a hiatus from basketball. Aaliyah Edwards is expected to be the top prospect targeted by the Mystics.

#7 Minnesota Lynx (Nyadiew Puoch – Forward)

#8 Chicago Sky (Leïla Lecan – Goalkeeper)

During the offseason, the Chicago Sky made a significant trade that resulted in an available guard position. While Ohio State’s Jacy Sheldon may seem like the logical choice, the Sky could also consider taking a risk on French prospect Leïla Lecan.

Lecan has been hailed as a “remarkable talent”and possesses all the necessary qualities to excel in the WNBA. The only potential obstacle in selecting her would be her limited availability, as she is currently committed to playing for Angers in France.

#9 Dallas Wings (Charli Collier – C)

It is clear that Jacy Sheldon, hailing from Ohio State, is a highly valuable pick at this stage of the WNBA Draft. Her exceptional 3-point shooting and defensive skills make her one of the top guard prospects. The Dallas Wings are facing a difficult decision due to their current roster makeup, making the possibility of a trade not unlikely.

#10 Connecticut Sun (DeWanna Bonner – F)

Alissa Pili possesses the ability to both score from the perimeter and dominate in the post. Despite her smaller stature, Georgia Amoore brings a fiery energy to the court that could inject new life into the Atlanta Dream’s offense.

The Dream require assistance with shooting and playmaking, which Amoore could quickly provide. Alternatively, they could consider selecting UCLA’s Charisma Osborne to enhance their defensive abilities.
