The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra smartphone appeared on the world market back in May this year. The company has now announced a new special edition variant known as the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition in its domestic market, which contains 18GB of RAM under the hood. In fact, this model is the first smartphone in the world to be equipped with a top-end configuration of 18GB RAM + 1TB storage.
In addition, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition also has a specially matched space-themed gift box, which also has some additional accessories such as the ZTE LiveBuds Pro wireless earbuds as well as a matching phone case in the same color. Otherwise, its hardware specifications remain the same as existing models.
In short, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers FHD + screen resolution, smooth 144Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 10-bit color depth, and HDR10 + support. On top of that, there is also a 16MP selfie camera as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.
On the back of the phone, you’ll be greeted by a huge camera island that houses a quad camera system and a trio of 64MP cameras for wide-angle, ultra-wide and portrait shots. This will be complemented by an 8MP periscope camera that offers up to 5x optical and 60x digital zoom.
Under the hood, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset, which will have up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Despite the impressive storage capacity, it can still be expanded using a microSD card.
To keep the light going, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra is powered by a respectable 4600mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging. Unfortunately, the Axon 30 Ultra does not support wireless or reverse charging. In terms of price, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition will set you back 6,998 Yuan ($ 1,095) in the Chinese market.
