Upcoming Genshin Impact Rerun Banners: Zhongli and Neuvillette Return
Mark your calendars for December 10, 2024, as two of Genshin Impact’s most cherished characters, Zhongli and Neuvillette, are set to make a return with rerun banners. Players will have the opportunity to acquire them alongside an accompanying weapon banner featuring their signature weapons: the Vortex Vanquisher and Tome of the Eternal Flow.
Character Highlights: Zhongli
Zhongli, a powerful five-star Geo character, is renowned for his Dominus Lapidis Elemental Skill. This skill not only generates a protective shield but also summons a Stone Stele that inflicts damage on foes over time. When equipped with one Constellation, players can activate up to two Stele on the field, greatly enhancing strategic gameplay. His signature weapon, the five-star polearm Vortex Vanquisher, complements his role as a premier support character.
Character Highlights: Neuvillette
On the other hand, Neuvillette, another five-star character, wields Hydro powers that make him a formidable force in combat. His Elemental Skill, O Tears, I Shall Repay, unleashes area-of-effect (AOE) beams of water, while his Elemental Burst, O Tides, I Have Returned, deals AOE Hydro damage based on his health points. His signature catalyst, Tome of the Eternal Flow, is essential for maximizing his damage output.
Four-Star Characters in the Banners
The rerun banners will also feature a familiar lineup of four-star characters: Heizou (Anemo catalyst wielder), Fischl (Electro archer), and Yaoyao (Dendro polearm user). Each of these characters has made previous appearances, offering players a chance to strengthen their rosters further.

This event is significant for Xbox Series X gamers, as it marks the first opportunity to obtain both Zhongli and Neuvillette. As a reminder, players still have time to obtain characters from the earlier banners in version 5.2, which feature the new five-star Anemo character Chasca alongside the returning Pyro character Lyney.
